Raincliff Youth Camp South Canterbury, New Zealand
The Raincliff Youth Camp and Conference Centre has accommodated groups, both young and old, since 1971.
Although administered by The Raincliff Trust Board on behalf of the Anglican Church, groups of all kinds use the camp including: business groups, school groups, seminars, training courses, church and family groups, family reunions, hobbyists, bands, weddings, service groups, hand crafts, weekend groups, ski parties, community groups, scouts, guides, retreats, disablity groups, musical groups, car enthusiasts and many others.
The camp boasts excellent sleeping, kitchen, dining, and meeting facilities, all in good order.

Raincliff Camp popular !
This year 1038 youth and 901 adults made use of the Raincliff Camp and the camp was utilized on 152 days by 49 groups throughout the year. It is great pleasure to see such a lot of people, young and old, using the Raincliff Camp as their base for activities, and full marks must go to the group organizers and leaders who recognize the many merits of this attractive venue. A grand total of 35,815 youth and 33,619 adults have now enjoyed a Raincliff Camp experience since it was first opened in 1971. |
Camp Fees to increase - 1st April 2007
The first camp fee increase for four years has recently been approved by the Raincliff Trust Board. As from 1st April 2007 the rates will be: - Weekend - Child $15, Adult $30
- Daily Rate - Child $5, Adult $10
- Weddings - $600 per weekend
Groups already booked will not be charged at the higher rate, but all current bookings for dates after April 2007 will be at the new rate |
St David's Centennial - 17 March 2007
St David's Church, Raincliff, will celebrate 100 years of existence on 17 March 2007 and a new stonewall and entrance way is being constructed to celebrate the Church's centenary. Camp users may use the church on application.
Facility Enhancements
The camp has had paintwork carried out this year, in bunkrooms, lounges and toilet blocks. Information signs showing "Things to Do in Raincliff" have been installed on the camp exterior & Raincliff roadside.
